Cam’s journey in health and fitness began with a deep-rooted passion for movement, honed through years of competing in baseball, basketball, martial arts, bodybuilding and swimming. His commitment to understanding human performance led him to pursue undergraduate studies in Kinesiology from Lakehead University before becoming a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). Further expanding his expertise, he holds a postgraduate certificate in Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University.
With a strong foundation in movement and rehabilitation, Cam has earned multiple certifications, including:
NSCA Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Functional Movement Specialist (FMS Level 1 & 2) and Certified Applied Functional Science Practitioner (CAFS)
These certifications have shaped his approach to assessment and treatment, allowing him to identify movement inefficiencies, uncover asymmetries, and develop individualized corrective exercise and therapy programs.
Beyond his formal education, Cam remains committed to continuous learning, staying up to date with the latest strength and conditioning research, attending industry seminars, and working alongside elite-level coaches and therapists—including those in the NFL and NHL. He has worked with athletes at all levels, from beginners to elite competitors, across various sports, including: cycling, running, hockey, baseball, swimming, and lacrosse. Additionally, he has helped military, paramedic, and correctional personnel successfully prepare for demanding physical assessments such as the FITCO, FORCE, and PET tests.
