Christine - RMT

Christine attended Fleming college for massage therapy. She has been an RMT since 2012 and is an active member in good standing with the CMTO and RMTAO. She entered this career to help people feel better, one hour at a time. She feels that nothing is more important than taking time for self care. She is here to help with that, whether it’s to relieve stress, increase mobility or decrease pain. Christine's passion for sports is what influenced her to become an RMT, but shortly after having her first child realized that she was passionate about helping pregnant clients during their pregnancy and postnatal. Christine has taken courses to further her knowledge in pre and postnatal massage; become a doula and providing her clients with several modalities to help with their treatments. Christine looks forward to treating YOU at Joie.

Kaitlyn - RMT

Kaitlyn Roebuck attended Fanshawe College for massage therapy, graduating in 2019 and practicing since March 2020. She is an active member of the CMTO and RMTAO and in good standing with both. She is eager to utilize the skills and techniques she has developed through schooling, intensive practice and studying massage therapy. She is a young determined professional aiming to providing her clients a comfortable and relaxing environment where she can work one-on-one with her clients to provide them the best possible treatment and treatment plans that will aid in improving improve their quality of life with each and every appointment. She looks forward to increase her skills and improve her techniques within the field of Massage Therapy as well as building rapport with her clients to ensure they receive the best treatment for their specific needs.

Brenda - RMT

For the past 12 years I’ve worked as a Registered Massage Therapist in a multidisciplinary clinic. Throughout my years of experience I’ve treated a variety of conditions such as repetitive strain injuries, lower back, neck and shoulder pain, whiplash, Frozen Shoulder, migraines/headaches, TMJ dysfunction, tendinitis and postural imbalances. I use a combination of techniques such as Swedish, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, traction, stretching and deep tissue to treat each patients muscular concerns by creating a customized treatment plan to meet each patients goals whether it is to relieve pain, decrease stress, increase circulation or promote relaxation and improve overall well being. I’ve always enjoyed my line of work because I get to help people on their way to improve their quality of life.

Jared - RMT

I am a deep-tissue sports therapist with an extensive background working in high-end spas. I know how to keep the treatment therapeutic and relaxing. Over the years of my career as an RMT, I have come across many issues ranging from tendinitis, scoliosis, sciatica, TMJ, foot and hand pain, pre and post-natal, headaches, and migraines as well as the day-to-day stressors of life. I love everything outdoors, wildlife, animals, and sports. Please feel free to customize this treatment in any way you would like. I am easygoing and I’m looking forward to fixing you!

Jack - RMT

With a passion for promoting holistic wellness, Jack is a dedicated and compassionate massage therapist committed to providing care to each client’s individual needs. He is trained in various modalities including Swedish, Aromatherapy, deep tissue, TMJ and scalp massage. With a nurturing touch and keen intuition, he will strive to create a relaxing and rejuvenating experience, fostering healing of both body and mind. Whether seeking relief from tension and stress or aiming to enhance overall well-being, clients can trust Jack to deliver personalized treatments aimed at restoring balance and vitality.

Brandon - RMT

Brandon graduated from The Ontario College of Health and Technology (OCHT) in 2018. He's a registered member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and also a member of the Registered Massage Therapists of Association of Ontario (RMTAO). Brandon was drawn to manual therapy from his experience with an osteopath during secondary school. The osteopath was the first therapist able to improve his mothers condition after she had a severe injury. After seeing this, Brandon was motivated to find his own way to create similar changes for others and was incredibly fascinated by the workings of the human body. He now enjoys helping his clients get back to what they love and/or helping ease their stresses.

Cam – RMT, CPT, Medical Acupuncture Practitioner

Cam's commitment to understanding human performance led him to pursue undergraduate studies in Kinesiology from Lakehead University before becoming a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). Further expanding his expertise, he holds a postgraduate certificate in Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University.
Cam has earned multiple certifications, including: NSCA Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Functional Movement Specialist (FMS Level 1 & 2) and Certified Applied Functional Science Practitioner (CAFS)
Cam remains committed to continuous learning, staying up to date with the latest strength and conditioning research, attending industry seminars, and working alongside elite-level coaches and therapists—including those in the NFL and NHL. He has worked with athletes at all levels, from beginners to elite competitors, across various sports helping to prepare for demanding physical assessments such as the FITCO, FORCE, and PET tests.

Charles - R. TCMP, R. Ac

For over 15 years, I have been learning important clinical knowledge of Chinese Medicine from my family, a strong Chinese medicine practitioner lineage. By the time I finished my education, my Chinese Medicine clinical experience had covered different regions ranging from Taiwan, Germany, China to Canada. With my experience, I have a strong knowledge in Traditional Chinese Medicine and treatments such as Acupuncture, Auricular Microsystem, Dietary and Lifestyle Therapy, Gua Sha and Cupping. As part of my practice and philosophy, I strive to educate and help in the healing process, empowering my patients to live better and healthier lives. My approach is a combination of both eastern and western philosophy. Ali - Manual Osteopath & CDT Lymphatic Practitioner

Ali Eid is a highly skilled and compassionate osteopath specializing in treating posture-related issues, concussion management, and TMJ disorders using a range of advanced techniques including Cranial-Sacral Osteopathy, Muscle Energy Technique (MET), Visceral Osteopathy, and Soft Tissue/Myofascial Treatment.
In addition to his osteopathic expertise, Ali is a Certified CDT (Complete Decongestive Therapy) Lymphatic Practitioner, offering specialized manual lymphatic drainage and therapeutic techniques to support detoxification, reduce swelling, and improve lymphatic health. Ali continuously enhances his skills by attending professional workshops and conferences to stay up to date with the latest research and clinical practices. He is committed to improving each patient’s quality of life with personalized, comprehensive care.

Elle Surgent - MD

I am Dr. Elle Surgent, a Family Physician in the Hamilton Area. I did my medical training at the University of Alberta and my residency at McMaster University. I did my aesthetics training through the Canadian Association of Medical Aesthetics with hands-on courses across Canada. I moved to Hamilton in 2020 and partnered with Joie Day Spa (the gorgeous spa I have been going to since I moved to the city).
In my own cosmetic work, and for my clients at Joie, I will focus on enhancing natural beauty and working with your own unique features for gorgeous results.
In our consultation, we will determine your end goal and how we can get you there safely, and naturally. Some medical procedures can be offered same day. We will focus on developing a long-term relationship through ongoing follow-up visits.
